Warm oats with berries, honey & cinnamon

Porridge ingredients:

– 50 g oats
– 5 g butter
– 250 ml water
– 100 ml almond milk
– 1 egg
– salt to taste

Toppings:

–  100 g cherries
– 50 g blueberries
–  cinnamon to sprinkle
– a spoonful of honey
– 30g 55% dark chocolate

Instructions:

Porridge:

– Add the milk, water and oats into a medium sized pot

– Put the pot on medium-high heat.

– Cook for about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally while it boils. Add one egg and stir until it’s fully incorporated. Then reduce to medium-low heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Finish with a bit of butter and, if you like, a pinch of salt.

Assemble in a bowl:

– Scoop the porridge into the bowl,

– Add  blueberries, cherries, cinnamon, honey and 30g 55% dark chocolate on top of the porridge and enjoy :)
